The Napp-it user interface and most of its functions are free of charge for end-users. You use it on your own risk without any support or warranty. We will not change this. But you can ask for paid help, bugfixes, programming and smaller add-ons. If you use napp-it and want to ensure further existence and developments of a free napp-it, you can contribute code, donate or place ad's. .
Contribution
I started the napp-it User Interface/ ZFS server project in 2009 to setup and manage a core ZFS server and to simplify the setup of a Solaris ZFS Server. The project has grown over time to a ready to use ZFS server with a lot of functions that costs a lot of time to develop and maintain. Currently I am the major developer with some contributions and code reviews by others. If you like napp-it and want to ensure further development of napp-it, it is essential to contribute to the project. This can be done by maintaining parts of the code, like it is done with the Comstar Module or via donations, especially if you use napp-it outside private and home use. Some newly developed napp-it add-ons and special functions like grouping and remote controlling appliances to replicate ZFS datasets are nonfree extensions. These functions are important for special use cases. If you want to use them, you need to buy a licence. If you have created an extension to napp-it, you are free to use your own licence or request a fee if you are distributing this extension independently from napp-it. You should advertise for these add-ons on napp-it.org .

The price is 150,-- euro per month for a 150x60 px banner without tax, min 6 month, you can cancel this up to 4 weeks from end or you will extend it for the next 6 months You could also book a banner for single months for 200,-- Euro/month without tax .
